Jenn invited us to this festival last year and we LOVED it, so now we've decided to make a habit of going every year. We got to the park in Middletown last night about 5:30pm; it was blazing hot! The park was packed with food vendors (yummy LaRosa's!), rides, games, a band, etc. At 7pm they launched 34 hot air balloons into the sky... then three teams of sky divers flew in after the balloons were gone. At 9pm, the balloons returned and lined up for a "glow show"... it is so cool being that close to that many HUGE balloons! We were total rebels keeping Max up past 10pm... :) He had a great time with his friends! He and Evan wore themselves out "fighting" and playing "boxing" or something; heck, I was just thrilled he wasn't playing "princess" like usual! Fight away, boys!
