Yup, Max had his Spring Sing program at school Sunday... the first weekend in May, just like last year. It was at 3pm, just like last year. The building was crowded and SUPER hot, just like last year. It was a huge success, UNLIKE last year! YAY MAX!
Max marched into the school, lined up with his class, followed his teacher and the two other classes who were also performing with them into the church, and got up on that stage and SANG!!!! He smiled, he clapped, he wiggled... he did it!! We were so proud!! It was the last performance of his preschool years, well, besides graduation- but I have a few weeks to mentally prepare for that one. What a bittersweet day...
Here are a few horrible pictures I took... I was waaaaay in the back and used the zoom... not cool. We also took some video but I cannot get it to upload here... ugh!
It was also time for the school's annual silent auction. Ok, so Max made me bid and bid and bid on the class stuffed animal (you know, the nasty thing that each kid was responsible for bringing home twice during the year?). My final bid for the 6 inch tall dirty bunny was $35. Seriously, if that doesn't win it then that's just dumb!!! We lost out on Baxter the Bear last year so fingers crossed that Bella the Bunny will be ours...
And now the last month of school begins...

We did NOT win that bunny. Another girl, whom we were in a bidding war with and whom won the class bear last year, paid more than $35 for that thing. Max was so sad.
